A co-founder & resident dj of London’s famous Livin’ Proof night, The transatlantic Dj Snips has also made a name for himself as both a dj & producer on both sides of the pond, dividing his time between London & NYC. This thursday Skillz the Dj Game will finally be available to buy for Ipad users! Me & DJ Daredevil from Droppin’ Science have been working on the soundtrack for a couple of years now for the Hong-Kong based production company Playpen Studios, creating specially re-edited & cut-up versions of tracks from the likes of Stones Throw Records, Ministry of Sound, Ninja Tune, Hospital Records & Om Records. I’ve been playing a pre-release version of the game for sometime now & I can tell you it’s a whole lot of fun, the control system is extremely intuitive, & a lot closer to the real thing than previous dj rhythm games!

After a short summer break Droppin’ Science is back at the Vibe Bar this Saturday, where we gladly welcome the return of DJ Swerve (Kiss FM) on the 1s & 2s.
Swerve straight killed it for us last october, and we expect nothing less this time around! His long-running hip hop and R&B show on Kiss FM goes out weeknights Monday to Thursday 10pm-12am to much critical acclaim including the 2010 Urban Music Award for best radio show. Swerve also scooped the 2009 UMA award for best dj & has just been nominated in both categories this year! Come down to find out why..
