What started as a bit of promo for our night, has turned into a well read and heavily subscribed to blog platform. With a small team of contributors dotted about the globe, the blog tries to casually spread the word about dope stuff we stumble across!
Droppin’ Science @ Vibe Bar
Now at it’s permanent home at Vibe Bar on the 1st Saturday of each month, Droppin’ Science is the best Hip Hop party East London has to offer. Now complete with extended family DJ’s Mr Thing (Extended Players) and IQ popping by every couple of months to tear up the turntables this is a party not to be missed.
Forthcoming parties also welcome the likes of Kid Kanevil (First Word Records), Chris Read (1Xtra/Music of Substance) and Paul White (One Handed Music) to the ones and twos.
The Droppin’ Science Radio Show
Having done 2 live guest mixes for Skanks Radio (Nu Skool Breaks) and a takeover show on Diesel UMusic, you can now tune into Droppin’ Science’s LIVE monthly radio show on SenseiFM. Expect nothing but fresh new Hip Hop, a few exclusives and of course some classics too.
Dip Dab @ The Star of Bethnal Green (Droppin’ Science X 55DSL)
Droppin’ Science have now teamed up with killer street brand 55DSL for a sister night called Dip Dab, hosted at The Star of Bethnal Green and on the last Saturday of each month. Here you’ll find the DS crew spinning Hip Hop, Funk & Disco Breaks, Reggae, Wonk, New Jack & few surprises too!
Soundwave Festival, Croatia
You will also be able to catch 2 thirds of the DS crew at Soundwave Festival this year in Croatia. Playing alongside the likes of Cinematic Orchestra, DaM-FunK, DJ Format, Toddla T and so many more great artists.
